If someone burnt a copy of Justin Beiber’s autobiography (if it can be called that, he’s only 12), would you expect a rioting mob of teenage girls to murder UN workers. Would anyone care. The mob of teenage girls probably believe that the words in this book are as true as Muslims believe the words of the koran, or Christians believe the words of the bible for that matter. If a man burns a book can he be blamed for the murders by rioters who took this as a threat to their beliefs.

Book burnings don’t kill people
Murderous mobs do

(Note: I don’t agree with the reasons that Terry Jones burned the koran, but I do think that he should be free to burn any books he wants, as long as he purchases them first. After all there’s always another copy.)
